Christmas Ornaments - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. ground cinnamon
    1 tsp. ground allspice
    2 Tbsp. ground cloves
    1 Tbsp. ground nutmeg
    1 c. applesauce
Preparation
    Combine cinnamon, allspice, cloves and nutmeg, blending well. Stir in applesauce.
    Mix well (it will be stiff).
    Roll out 1/4-inch thick on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Cut with cookie cutters.
    Let dry in sunny window 4 days.
    Store in plastic bags. Before drying, place ribbon or copper wire hanger on back.
