Easy Caramel Sauce - cooking recipe

1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
3/4 c. light corn syrup
1/2 c. sugar
1/3 c. packed brown sugar
1/4 c. margarine
1/4 c. whipping cream
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Combine first 4 ingredients in a heavy saucepan. Mix well. Cook over medium heat until mixture reaches 220\u00b0, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Stir in butter, whipping cream and vanilla. Serve sauce warm over ice cream or pound cake. Yields 3 cups.
