Fruit Compote - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    16 oz. pears, undrained and chopped
    15 1/4 oz. can pineapple chunks, undrained
    10 oz. frozen strawberries, thawed and undrained
    8 3/4 oz. fruit cocktail, undrained
    2 sliced bananas
    2 apples, cubed
    1/2 c. maraschino cherries
    3 1/2 oz. pkg. instant vanilla pudding mix
Preparation
    Combine all fruit and stir in pudding mix.
    Chill.
    Makes 8 servings.
