Meringue For Cream Pie - cooking recipe

3 or 4 egg whites
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
1/3 c. sugar
Preparation

Beat egg whites with cream of tartar until foamy.
Gradually add sugar, beating until stiff, but not dry.
Spread meringue on top of pie while filling is still hot, sealing edges carefully to crust.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes or golden brown.
