Ruby Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (1 lb.) pkg. fresh cranberries
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. water
    1 pkg. strawberry gelatin
    1/2 pkg. marshmallows or about 20
    2 apples, peeled and diced
Preparation
    Cook cranberries, sugar and water over medium heat until cranberries have popped and are cooked.
    Remove from heat.
    Add gelatin and stir until dissolved.
    Add marshmallows and stir until melted.
    Let cool.
    Stir in apples and chill until set.
    Yields 12 servings.
