Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 qt. green chopped tomatoes
    2 lb. red sweet peppers, ground
    1 qt. onions, ground
    1/3 c. canning salt
    2 Tbsp. mustard seed
    2 Tbsp. celery seed
    1 tsp. turmeric
    1 qt. vinegar
    6 c. sugar
Preparation
    Pour canning salt over the first 3 ingredients and let sit overnight.
    In the morning, drain.
    Add remaining ingredients. Add together and cook for 1/2 hour.
    Makes 12 pints.
    Use any kind of hot jar for packing.
