Banana Cream Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 c. milk
    3 egg yolks, beaten
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    3 large sliced bananas
    1 (9-inch) baked pie shell
Preparation
    Mix sugar, cornstarch and salt in saucepan.
    Gradually add and heat milk, stirring constantly until thickened and boiling.
    Boil 1 minute and remove from heat.
    Add 1/2 mixture to bowl of egg yolks.
    Stir and gradually add back to saucepan, stirring constantly.
    Boil 1 minute.
    Add butter and vanilla.
    Blend and remove from heat and cool.
    Line a 9-inch pastry in pie pan with sliced bananas on top.
    Pour filling over bananas.
    Chill.
    Top with whipped cream and banana slices.
