Granville Torte - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 egg whites
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. Crisco
    5 Tbsp. milk
    1 tsp. baking powder
    4 egg yolks, beaten
    1 c. flour
    1/2 pt. Cool Whip
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix 1/2 cup sugar, Crisco and beaten yolks.
    Add flour, baking powder and salt alternately with milk.
    Pour into 2 (8-inch) greased and floured pans.
    Beat egg whites, gradually adding 1 cup sugar until stiff.
    Spread over cake mixture in pan.
    Bake 30 minutes at 325\u00b0.
