Taffy Apple Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (20 oz.) can drained chunk pineapple (save juice)
    4 c. miniature marshmallows
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. vinegar
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    1 (8 oz.) carton Cool Whip
    1 can cocktail peanuts (I use 3/4 of a 12 oz. can)
    4 c. unpeeled apples, cubed
Preparation
    The day before, mix the drained pineapple and marshmallows together.
    Refrigerate.
