Sourdough Refrigerator Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 envelope dry yeast
    1/2 c. warm water (105~)
    6 c. all-purpose flour
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. soda
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    1 c. shortening
    1 c. sourdough starter
    2 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Grease a 10-cup plastic container with a tight fitting lid; set aside.
    Sprinkle yeast over water.
    Set aside to soften 5 minutes.
    In a large bowl, stir together flour, baking powder, soda, salt and sugar.
    Use a pastry blender or two knives and cut in shortening until mixture resembles coarse crumbs; set aside.
