Granny'S Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 large or 8 medium eggs, separated
    2 2/3 c. sugar
    2 sticks margarine or 1/2 lb. butter, melted
    1 c. Crisco
    3 1/2 c. sifted plain flour
    1/2 c. coffee cream or Pet milk
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Beat egg whites with 6 tablespoons sugar and refrigerate while mixing cake.
    Cream sugar, butter and Crisco.
    Add egg yolks and blend on medium speed of mixer, then on lowest speed, add in flour, milk and vanilla.
    Mix well.
    Quickly add egg whites and fold in.
    Bake in tube pan (10-inch)) at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
