German Potato Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. smoked sausage, sliced
1/2 c. thinly sliced celery
1/2 c. finely chopped onion
5 or 6 potatoes, cooked and cubed or sliced
4 hard-cooked eggs
2/3 c. vinegar
2/3 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. flour (rounded)
1 1/3 c. water
Preparation

Saute sausage with onion and celery; brown, if possible.
Mix sugar and flour until blended; add vinegar and water and stir until smooth.
Add to sausage and bring to a boil, stirring occasionally.
Pour over potatoes and sliced eggs and blend together.
Serve hot.
