Kisses - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 egg whites
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. cornflakes, finely crushed
    1 c. nutmeats or coconut, finely crushed with a rolling pin
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Beat
    the
    whites
    until
    stiff,
    do not overbeat.
    Add sugar, a
    little
    at
    a
    time, then put the bowl into a pot of boiling water. Beat the meringue until it forms a crust at the edges. Remove and
    add the rest of the ingredients.
    Then put on a greased sheet
    in
    drops
    as large as desired.
    Bake in a warm oven.
