Sweet-Sour Kraut And Chops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 medium baking potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    6 pork rib chops
    1 (27 oz.) can sauerkraut, rinsed and drained
    2 Tbsp. cooking oil
    1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
Preparation
    In a 12 x 7 1/2 x 2-inch baking dish, combine potato slices, onion and 1/4 cup water.
    Bake, covered, at 350\u00b0 for about 45 minutes.
    While this is baking, in skillet, brown pork chops on both sides in hot oil.
    In a bowl, combine sauerkraut, undrained pineapple and brown sugar.
    Spoon this over potato mixture.
    Place chops on top.
    Season with salt and pepper.
    Bake, covered, another 45 minutes.
