Chocolate Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter
1 c. shortening
3 c. sugar
5 eggs
2 1/2 c. cake flour
1/2 c. cocoa
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. milk
Preparation

Cream butter and shortening.
Add sugar; mix well.
Add eggs and half of dry ingredients, then add milk.
Add remainder of dry ingredients and vanilla; beat well.
Pour into tube pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Allow cake to cool for about 1 hour before removing from pan.
Will keep 1 to 1 1/2 weeks wrapped in refrigerator.
