Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (9-inch) pastry shell
    1 1/2 qt. fresh berries
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    3/4 to 1 c. sugar
    1 c. water
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 pkg. cream cheese
Preparation
    Mash 1/3 cup berries.
    Add water and sugar.
    Microwave 6 to 8 minutes.
    Soften cornstarch with water and add to mix.
    Microwave 2 to 3 minutes on High.
    Stir once.
    Stir in butter and cool. Fill shell with remaining berries.
    Pour cooled glaze over top with whipped cream.
