Frozen Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large can crushed pineapple
    1 c. sugar
    2 envelopes clear gelatin
    8 Tbsp. cold water
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    3 diced bananas
    1 small jar cherries, chopped
    1/2 pt. whipping cream
Preparation
    Soak gelatin in water.
    Heat pineapple and sugar; cool.
    Beat whipping cream until stiff.
    Add gelatin and other ingredients. Blend with mixer.
    Add pecans, if desired.
    Freeze.
    Cut and serve frozen or take out 1 hour before serving.
