Southern Cobbler - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 c. fresh or frozen fruit (blackberries, cherries, blueberries or peaches)
1/8 tsp. salt
pastry for 9-inch pie
1 Tbsp. sugar
3/4 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. oleomargarine
1 Tbsp. milk
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
Preparation

Place fruit in 9-inch square dish.
Combine sugar, cornstarch and salt; mix well and sprinkle over fruit.
Dot with oleo.
Place pastry on top of fruit; trim edge and seal.
Make several slits to allow steam to escape.
Brush pastry with milk; sprinkle with sugar.
Bake at 425\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
