Marinated Vegetable Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. vegetable oil
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. water
    pepper to taste
    16 oz. can French green beans
    16 oz. can bean sprouts
    17 oz. can LeSueur peas
    12 oz. can Shoe Peg corn
    1 c. chopped celery
    1 green pepper, finely chopped
    1 bunch green onions, chopped
    2 carrots, grated
Preparation
    Combine vinegar, vegetable oil, salt, sugar, water and pepper in saucepan.
    Bring to boil.
    Stir until sugar is dissolved.
    Let cool.
    Drain French beans, bean sprouts, peas and corn.
    Mix with celery, pepper, onions and carrots.
    Pour vinegar mixture over vegetables.
    Mix well.
    Cover and put in refrigerator for 12 hours.
    Stir occasionally.
