Tacos - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 taco shells
    12 oz. 90% lean ground beef
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 (4 oz.) can diced green chilie peppers, drained
    1 to 2 tsp. chili powder
    1 1/2 c. shredded lettuce
    1 c. chopped tomatoes (2 small)
    1/2 c. shredded low-fat natural Cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese (2 oz.)
    1/2 c. taco sauce
Preparation
    Heat taco shells according to package directions.
    Meanwhile, for filling, in a large skillet, cook meat, onion and garlic until meat is brown and onion is tender.
    Drain off fat.
    Stir in chilie peppers and chili powder; heat through.
    Fill taco shell with meat mixture; top with lettuce, tomatoes, cheese and taco sauce.
    Makes 4 servings.
