Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 3/4 c. flour
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Mix shortening, sugar and eggs.
    Sift together and stir in flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt.
    Roll into walnut-sized balls.
    Roll in sugar and cinnamon.
    Place 2 inches apart on greased cookie sheets.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 to 375\u00b0 until light brown, but still soft (12 to 15 minutes).
