Southern Pecan Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 eggs
2/3 c. sugar
dash of salt
1/3 c. melted butter
1 c. dark corn syrup
1 c. pecan halves
1 recipe plain pastry
Preparation

Beat eggs thoroughly with sugar, salt, melted butter and syrup.
Add pecans.
Pour into 9-inch unbaked pie shell.
Bake in moderate oven at 350\u00b0 for 50 minutes or until knife inserted halfway between the outside and center comes out clean.
Cool before serving.
