Squash Pickle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 c. small squash
    2 c. onions, sliced
    4 cubed bell peppers
    2 Tbsp. salt
    3 c. sugar
    2 c. vinegar
    2 tsp. celery seed
    2 tsp. mustard seed
Preparation
    Place squash, onion, pepper and salt in large pan.
    Cover with ice cubes.
    Let stand 2 hours; drain.
    Mix remaining ingredients. Pour over squash, onion and pepper.
    Bring to a good boil.
    Place in jars and seal.
    Makes about 5 pints.
