Peanut Butter Pralines - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 c. margarine
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    2 Tbsp. peanut butter
    2 1/2 c. roasted peanuts
Preparation
    Mix the buttermilk, butter and sugar in a 2-quart saucepan. Cook and stir over low heat until sugar is dissolved.
    Add peanuts and cook over medium heat to soft ball stage or to 234\u00b0 on candy thermometer, stirring constantly. Add soda, vanilla and peanut butter. Stir rapidly only until mixture is creamy and thickened. Drop rapidly from a tablespoon onto a lightly greased baking sheet to form patties.
    Let stand until cool and set.
