Barbara'S Soup Beans(Crock-Pot) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. dry pinto beans
    2 lb. country ham chunks
    water
    salt
Preparation
    Sort beans in bowl; rinse.
    Put beans in a large pan; cover with water.
    Boil rapidly for 10 to 15 minutes.
    (This swells the beans.)
    Rinse and put in crock-pot with the ham chunks.
    Add a little salt.
    Cover with water.
    Cook on high for 8 to 10 hours.
