Snow Pudding With Custard Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 envelopes unflavored gelatin
    1/2 c. cold water
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 c. boiling water
    grated rind of 2 lemons
    1/2 c. lemon juice
    6 egg whites
    Custard Sauce (recipe follows)
    Lime Stars (recipe follows)
Preparation
    Soften gelatin in the cold water.
    Add 1 cup of sugar, the salt and boiling water; stir to dissolve gelatin and sugar.
    Add lemon rind and juice.
    Chill until partially set.
