Holiday Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box light brown sugar
    4 eggs, slightly beaten
    1/4 c. margarine
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Combine brown sugar, eggs and margarine in a pot.
    Place over low heat until sugar melts, stirring constantly.
    Remove from stove.
    Combine flour and baking powder and add to mixture.
    Add vanilla and pecans and stir well.
    Pour into a 9 x 13-inch pan (greased and floured) and bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
    Let cool and cut into bars.
