Millie'S Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1 c. water
    1/2 c. white corn syrup
    1/4 c. butter
    1 lb. raw Valencia peanuts
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Boil sugar, water and corn syrup until it threads.
    Add butter and peanuts;
    cook slowly to 300\u00b0, stirring occasionally.
    Add soda and vanilla.
    (It
    will
    foam\tup.)
    Turn out on buttered baking sheet;
    pull out thin as it cools.
    When cold, break into pieces with knife handle.
