Scotch Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. self-rising flour
2 c. sugar
2 sticks oleo
1/2 c. shortening
4 Tbsp. cocoa
1 c. water
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
Preparation

Sift together flour and sugar.
Set aside.
Bring to a boil the oleo, shortening, cocoa and water.
Mix with dry ingredients. Add buttermilk, soda, vanilla and eggs (well beaten).
Mix well. Makes one 9 x 13-inch pan and one 8 x 8-inch pan.
