Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    9 c. self rising flour
    1/4 c. baking powder
    10 oz. shortening
    1/4 c. sugar
    3 3/4 to 4 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Mix dry ingredients together in bowl.
    Add shortening and work in until crumblike texture.
    Pour in buttermilk and work up as a stiff dough.
    Pour out on well floured surface.
    Work in flour with hands until stickiness is gone.
    Roll out with floured dough roller and cut with floured biscuit cutter.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
    Makes 44 biscuits.
