Seafoam Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 unbeaten egg whites
    1 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
    dash of salt
    1/3 c. water
Preparation
    Place in the top pan of a double boiler.
    Beat with hand held electric mixer for 1 minute to mix thoroughly.
    Make sure water is boiling.
    Beat at high speed for 7 minutes.
    Add 1 teaspoon vanilla and spread on a medium size cake.
