Marinated Carrots - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. carrots, cut in 1-inch buttons
    1 c. sugar
    1 can tomato soup
    3/4 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. oil
    1 onion, chopped
    1 bell pepper, chopped
Preparation
    Cook carrots until tender; drain and cool.
    Bring to a boil the sugar, vinegar and oil.
    Add onions and bell pepper.
    Remove from heat.
    Add soup mixture.
    Add carrots.
    Let set overnight.
