Sausage Flavored Thyme Turkey Burgers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground raw turkey
    3/4 c. soft bread crumbs
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 egg or egg substitute
    2 Tbsp. plain low-fat yogurt
    1/2 tsp. each: crumbled dried thyme, salt, coarse pepper to taste and fennel seed
    1 clove minced garlic (optional)
    pinch of red pepper flakes
Preparation
    Combine turkey, bread crumbs, onion, egg, yogurt, fennel seed, thyme and seasonings.
    Shape into 6 patties.
    Spray a nonstick skillet with cooking spray.
    Cook patties over medium heat 4 to 5 minutes on each side.
    Makes 6 turkey burgers, 100 calories each, 10 calories less per burger with egg substitute.
