Sugar Cream Pie #3 - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (9-inch) pie shell, baked
    1 stick butter or margarine
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 c. cornstarch
    2 c. milk or 1 c. half and half and 1 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    nutmeg or cinnamon
Preparation
    Melt butter and add sugar and cornstarch.
    Stir until smooth. Add milk and cook over medium heat until thick like pudding.
    Stir in vanilla and pour into pie shell.
    Sprinkle top with nutmeg or cinnamon and place in a 350\u00b0 oven for 5 to 10 minutes.
    Cool and serve.
