Ruth Lyons' Coffee Cake(In Honor Of Hector D. Kirk) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick margarine
    1 c. white sugar
    1 c. light brown sugar
    2 c. flour
    2 eggs
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 c. raisins
    1/2 c. coconut, flaked
    1/2 c. chopped pecans (optional)
Preparation
    Combine margarine, the two sugars and flour.
    Mix well and save 1/2 cup for topping.
    Add eggs, buttermilk and baking soda. Mix well and then add raisins, coconut and pecans.
    Pour into 2 floured and greased round cake pans.
    Put reserved dry ingredients on top of batter and press some pecans on top of each coffee cake. Bake at 350\u00b0
    for 35 minutes.
