Crab Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 stick butter
1 Tbsp. onion, chopped
6 Tbsp. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. red pepper
1 tsp. chopped parsley
1/8 tsp. mace
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
2 c. milk
1 lb. crab meat
2 c. half and half
8 tsp. sherry or white wine
Preparation

Saute onion in butter.
Add flour and next 5 ingredients. After heating, add milk and stir until thickened.
Add crab meat and simmer.
In separate saucepan, heat half and half and sherry or wine.
When blended and warm, slowly blend into milk and crab mixture.
Heat thoroughly, but do not boil.
