Sunday Chicken Rice Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can mushroom soup (reserve 1/2 c.)
    1 c milk
    1 envelope onion soup mix
    1 (3 oz.) can chopped mushrooms
    1 c. regular rice
    1 (10 oz.) frozen peas and carrots
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients and pour into 12 x 7 1/2 x 2-inch baking dish.
    Arrange pieces of 2 1/2 or 3 pound broiler/fryer chicken over top.
    Pour the 1/2 cup reserved mushroom soup over chicken.
    Sprinkle with paprika.
    Cover with aluminum foil sealed tightly around edges.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 (glass:
    350\u00b0) until rice is tender, 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hours.
    Serves 4 to 6.
