Cheese Strata - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 slices white bread
    1 lb. bacon, cubed ham or cooked sausage
    1 tsp. dry mustard
    1 lb. grated Cheddar cheese
    6 eggs, slightly beaten
    3 c. milk
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Butter bread and cube it.
    Line bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan with bread.
    Grate cheese.
    Layer cheese and meat twice, ending with meat on top.
    Beat eggs and milk with dry mustard, salt and pepper.
    Pour over other ingredients; cover with foil. Refrigerate 24 to 48 hours.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
