Toasted Coconut Pecan Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. evaporated milk
    1 c. sugar
    3 egg yolks
    1/2 c. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. pecans, chopped
    1 1/3 c. coconut
Preparation
    Combine milk, sugar, egg yolks, butter and vanilla.
    Cook until thick over medium heat, about 12 minutes.
    Remove from heat. Add pecans and coconut; beat until cool and thick enough to spread.
