Eula'S Bread And Butter Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 gal. cucumbers
    6 medium onions
    2 green peppers
    1/3 c. salt
    5 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. turmeric
    1 1/2 tsp. celery seed
    2 Tbsp. mustard seed
    3 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Slice vegetables very thin.
    Put in container.
    Add salt; stir and cover with ice and let set 3 hours.
    Drain well and make syrup with remaining ingredients.
    Heat to boil.
    Put in jar and seal.
