Mom'S Lemon Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 pt. boiling water
1 Tbsp. butter
1 lemon, grated rind and juice
2 egg yolks
Preparation

Mix cornstarch and sugar; add boiling water, stirring constantly, cook until clear.
Add butter, beaten egg yolks, lemon juice and rind.
Pour into baked pie shell; cover with meringue made from egg whites and brown slightly.
