Chili Con Carne - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
1 1/4 c. minced onion
2 1/2 c. cooked kidney beans (No. 2 can)
1 1/2 c. condensed tomato soup
3 Tbsp. chili powder
1 Tbsp. flour
3 Tbsp. water
1 tsp. salt
Preparation

Cook ground beef and onion together until meat is brown and onion is yellow.
Add the beans and soup and cook for 10 minutes. Make a paste of the chili powder, flour, water and salt and add to mixture.
Cook over low heat, stirring frequently, for about 45 minutes.
Serve hot with crackers or hot fried corn meal mush. Serves 8.
