Cowboy Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. self-rising cornmeal
    2 eggs
    1 c. buttermilk
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 stick butter
    1 can cream-style corn
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 onion, chopped
    4 jalapeno peppers, chopped
    1/2 lb. cheese (Cheddar), shredded
Preparation
    Mix cornmeal, eggs, milk, soda, salt, corn and butter; set aside.
    Cook meat, onion and pepper.
    Pour 1/2 of cornmeal batter into greased casserole dish.
    Add meat mixture; sprinkle with cheese.
    Pour remaining batter over top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
