Cheese Dip - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. hamburger
    1 lb. mild sausage
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 lb. box Velveeta cheese
    1 small onion (optional)
Preparation
    Brown hamburger, sausage and onion; drain.
    Pour into crock-pot.
    Mix in soup; add Velveeta cheese (in chunks).
    Cook on low, stirring often until cheese is melted.
    Serve with party rye.
