New England Baked Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. small pea beans
    1 lb. salt pork
    3 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    3 Tbsp. molasses
    1/2 tsp. dry mustard
    1 medium onion, chopped
    2 Tbsp. catsup
Preparation
    Soak beans overnight.
    Drain and pick out \"bad\" beans.
    Boil the beans for 5 minutes with 1 tablespoon baking soda.
    Drain again, then combine all ingredients in a crock-pot or slow cooker. Bake at 225\u00b0 to 250\u00b0 for 5 to 6 hours.
