Oatmeal Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. light brown sugar
1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. butter
2 eggs
3/4 c. light corn syrup
3/4 c. quick oatmeal
1 c. flake coconut
1 c. milk
2 unbaked pie shells
8 eggs
2 c. sugar
1/4 c. flour
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. light corn syrup
1/4 c. butter, melted
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. uncooked quick oatmeal
Preparation

In
mixer
bowl, beat eggs until frothy.
In a separate bowl, combine the sugar, flour, cinnamon and salt; then add to the
eggs and
blend.
Add
the corn syrup, melted butter and vanilla; blend
again.
Mix
in the oatmeal and pour into the crusts.
Bake for
45
minutes, or until well set.
(This can take over an hour, especially when baking more than one pie in an oven.)
