Ripe Tomato Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 gal. ripe tomatoes, peeled and chopped
    1 c. chopped onions
    1 c. chopped bell pepper
    3 c. sugar
    1 pt. vinegar
    2 pods hot pepper
    2 Tbsp. salt
Preparation
    Boil all ingredients except vinegar for 1 hour. Add vinegar and mixed pickles tied in cheesecloth. Simmer an hour. Seal in hot jars.
