Filled Cookie Dough - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. soda
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. canned milk or cream
    2 1/2 c. sifted flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cream the shortening and sugar together.
    Add eggs and beat. Add cream and rest of the ingredients.
    Makes a smooth dough. Roll out thin and cut a round disc.
    Put on a teaspoon of any kind of filling (cherry, apple, blueberry, etc.).
    Place another disc on top and crimp edges with a fork.
    (Can also use just one disc and fold over.)
    Bake 8 to 10 minutes at 400\u00b0.
