Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 lb. ground beef
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 small bud garlic or garlic powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 1/2 oz. pkg. Williams chili seasoning
    1 qt. (32 oz.) tomato juice
    1 pt. water
    1 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Cook beef in large kettle until it loses its red color.
    Add salt, pepper, sugar and chopped onion.
    Add tomato juice, water and chili seasoning; stir until dissolved.
    Cook slowly, about 30 minutes, then simmer about an hour or two.
    Add beans just before serving.
    Do not cook with chili.
