Linda'S Chile Verde - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 lb. lean pork steak cubes, browned and drained
    3 Tbsp. oil
    1 large onion
    8 chopped garlic cloves
    1 bunch cilantro, chopped
    12 tomatillos, chopped
    12 diced green chilies (use canned Ortega chilies or roasted, peeled Anaheim chilies)
Preparation
    Add vegetable mixture to pork with 3 cups chicken broth, 2 cups water, 2 teaspoons cumin and 2 teaspoons oregano.
    Simmer 1 to 2 hours until meat is very tender. Thicken with cornstarch and water if necessary.
